Government growth teams to present recommendations
Three 'growth teams' formed by the Danish government are currently working on recommendations, which shall strengthen the growth conditions for business areas central to the green conversion.
The Danish Government has as a part of its business and growth policy formed seven 'growth teams', which shall examine the conditions and possibilities of growth in selected business areas. Three of these growth teams are examining bioeconomy and the biobased society from different angles. Their work will end up in a number of recommendations. The government will based on the recommendations create road maps which shall strenghten growth within these business areas.
Growth Team for Water, Bio and Environmental Solutions
The Growth Team for Water, Bio and Environmental Solutions was launched on a meeting the 16th of April 2012. The team will submit its recommendations on the 15th of November 2012.
The chairman is Carsten Bjerg, CEO at Grundfos A/S. The Ministry of Business and Growth is responsible for the team.
Growth Team for Energy and Climate
Growth Team for Energy and Climate was launched on the 1st of June 2012. The team will submit its recommendations no later than 1st of February 2013.
The chairman is Danfoss CEO Niels B. Christiansen.The Ministry of Business and Growth is responsible for the team.
Growth Team for Foods
The Growth Team for Foods was launched on the 23rd of August 2012. The recommendations will be submitted no later than 1st of April 2013.
The Chairman is Peder Tuborgh, CEO at Arla Foods. The Ministry of Business and Growth is responsible for the team together with the Ministry of Foods, Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
