Strong support to the strategy of the alliance
If Denmark shall become a central player in the future biobased society politicians have to act now. This was one of the most important messages when BioRefining Alliance presented its strategy.
Director of BioRefining Alliance, Anne Grete Holmsgaard, welcomed a large crowd of excited participants when the alliance on Tuesday the 12th of June presented the strategy 'Denmark in a global biobased society - do we want to be costumers or producers?'
The launch of the strategy and its 19 recommendations was held on a all-day conference at Mogens Dahls Concert hall in Copenhagen.
Representatives from the business world, research institutions, NGOs and government were among the participants.
During the conference they had the opportunity to ask questions about the recommendations and to give their input to future actions.
By the end of the conference chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Climate, Energy and Buildings, Steen Gade from SF, received the recommendations:
- The biobased society is not just a part of the broad energy agenda. It has its own agenda, he said.
