The alliance strongly represented at Bioeconomy in Action
Partners in BioRefining Alliance were both speakers and tour hosts during the conference Bioeconomy in Action arranged by the Danish EU Presidency 2012.
Both CEO and president in Novozymes, Steen Riisgaard, and Head of Research and Developement in DONG Energy plus chairman of BioRefining Alliance, Charles Nielsen, were speakers during Bioeconomy in Action held the 26th to the 28th of March 2012.
Additionally, Novozymes and DONG Energy invited the participants on a trip to Kalundborg to visit the 2nd generation biorefinery Inbicon and the gasification plant Pyroneer.
BioRefining Alliance was present during the whole conference. The Secretariat had a stand with information about the alliance and acted as host on the bus ride to and from Kalundborg.
